It
was nearly unimaginable back then: Israelis and Palestinians
shaking hands on the White House lawn. It's even harder
to imagine now. Remember September of '93 in this Vintage

An Enron biggie
From Sunshine into Shadow
By Rick Horowitz
O Kenny Boy,
Your prison cell is calling,
'Til who knows when,
You'll spend your days inside,
Your mansions gone,
Your checkbook balance falling,
It's you, it's you who cheated and who lied.
But was a time
When you were so respected,
When all desired your handshake and your smile,
Your crooked soul went so long undetected,
O Kenny Boy, O Kenny Boy,
You made a pile.
O Kenny Boy,
The hype was so enthralling,
You were a star,
And money flowed like wine,
Then things turned sour
And profits took a mauling,
But still you swore that ev'rything was fine.
And those who toiled
So long and now are weeping,
Who worked so hard, and played by all the rules,
Who kept their futures near for your safekeeping,
O Kenny Boy, O Kenny Boy,
They feel like fools.
O Kenny Boy,
Now Dubya barely knows you,
Once you were pals,
But that was long ago,
The best of buds,
Now times have changed, which shows you
That there are friends for life and friends for show.
But think of all
Who worshipped you and Skilling,
Who gave their hearts not wisely, but too well,
Who learned too late the Devil made a killing,
O Kenny Boy, O Kenny Boy,
You go to hell!
